This Week’s Most Anticipated Release(s)
I became a big fan of Dana Marie Bell when I stumbled on her Halle Shifters/Halle Pumas series a few months ago. I can’t wait to read this new title by her! While this book is Book #2 in the Poconos Pack series, it really ties together with both the the Halle Shifters and the Halle Pumas – that’s part of why I picked up Finding Forgiveness (Poconos Pack Book 1). In the Halle Shifters series we were introduced to both Ben and Dave, and I liked the series so well I had to read their own story in Finding Forgiveness – even if it was a M/M romance. Before that, I had never read a M/M romance before. However, I was so caught up and captivated with this series, that it was only natural to want to read about all of the characters within it. I was pleasantly surprised by it, and the skill that Dana Marie Bell executed when she wrote it. So much so, that it I didn’t even blink when Lover At Last by J.R. Ward was released – which, as fans of hers know, was also M/M. Mr. Red Riding Hoode is the next installment to Dana’s Poconos Pack series, but this one falls back to the more typical M/F story line. For those of you who missed out on the first one, I’m pretty sure this one will be stand alone (since Dana usually manages to make each one stand on their own while also being part of a series) so you won’t feel like you’ve missed out on anything. Mr. Red Riding Hood will be out on November 12, 2013.
Blurb for Mr. Red Riding Hoode: The better to make you mine, my dear…When it came down to saving his best friend Ben’s relationship, Steven Hoode didn’t hesitate to trade his Florida timeshare for a month at Red Wolf Lodge. Cold weather isn’t his favorite thing, but hot snow bunnies are, so he plans to make the most of his vacation. Good karma kicks in when he sees a pretty brunette chatting with the lodge owner. All thoughts of nuptials and nookie take a back seat to the heat that flares between them. When Graciela “Chela” Mendoza catches sight of the gorgeous man shivering in a red-hooded parka, she realizes why he makes her heart beat faster. He’s her mate. The problem? Steven has no idea his friends are Wolves. Chela plans to break it to him gently, but when he accidently witnesses the whole Pack shifting, things get a bit…hairy. He bolts, locking himself in his cabin and refusing to listen, even to Ben. Unless she can get him to see that Wolves are people, too, Chela will lose her mate faster than she can say woof.
Warning: This book contains explicit sex, graphic language, a man packing some nice goodies and a she-Wolf all ready to gobble them up.
