This Week’s Most Anticipated Release(s)
I’m a little bit behind on this series, considering I just recently discovered it! I have read the first book, which was a great read, and have every intention of reading every one in the series…:) The newest one, Rocky Mountain Freedom, will be released on November 19th. Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do!
About the series: The Coleman family has ranched in the Rocky Mountain House area of Alberta for generations. These modern day contemporary cowboy romance stories follow the men of the extended family as they find both their place in the community and a happy-ever-after. Rocky Mountain Freedom is preceded by Rocky Mountain Heat, Rocky Mountain Haven, Rocky Mountain Desire, Rocky Mountain Angel, and Rocky Mountain Rebel.
Blurb for Rocky Mountain Freedom: Three hurting hearts. Too many secrets. One chance to conquer their fears. Over the past year, Travis Coleman lost the two people he allowed closest to his heart. Both gave him ultimatums—then left. Hell if he needs that kind of pain again. Time to move forward without the friends he thought might save him from his dangerous cravings. When Ashley Sims returns to Rocky Mountain House, her rambling lifestyle isn’t all she’s hoping to change. Travis snagged a piece of her, and while getting tangled in his issues again might be crazy, she hasn’t given up on him. Nine months ago, Cassidy Jones walked away to stop his best friend from making a huge mistake. Temptation lingers, though, and when Travis shows up on his turf accompanied by a sensually uninhibited woman, the combination tosses fuel on the banked fire. Passion flares among the three of them, as hot as the summer days. But are they willing to push the limits, and fight for love?
Warning: Dirty fighting, dirty talk, dirtier sex—secrets are coming out. Get ready for ménage a trois and cowboy-on-cowboy action, with ropes and crops and the kind of relentless love strong enough to set a man free.
Erin Nicholas also has her next installment for her Counting on Love series releasing this week. I don’t know about you, but I have been wanting to read more about Nate and Emma for awhile, so i’m excited to grab this one! Releases on November 19th.
About the series: What’s worse than your sister dating your best friend? That… times four! Just ask Conner Dixon. His four younger sisters are falling in love with his four best friends. What did he do to deserve this? Conner Dixon is an up and coming ace paramedic for the same hospital where Ben Torres, Sam Bradford, Mac Gordon, Dooley Miller and Kevin Campbell work. In fact, he’s filled in on the crew in the past and once made the mistake of hitting on Sara, Mac’s wife. Now Conner has his own crew, but his path crosses with the Bradford guys’ on a daily basis at the hospital and at Trudy’s, the popular bar across the street. And once the guys find out that Conner’s the quarterback on the amateur league team, the Omaha Hawks, they almost never miss a game. Not only do the guys love giving Conner a hard time, they—of course– can’t keep their advice about women and relationships to themselves. And then there’s Sam, who’s heart goes out to a guy with four sisters. Especially sisters who look and act like Conner’s do. Best of Three is preceded by She’s the One and It Takes Two.
Blurb from Best of Three: Sometimes it takes a couple of tries before you get love right. Emma Dixon is known for getting in over her head—and having a great time doing it. She’s aware her shenanigans rub Nate Sullivan the wrong way, but getting a rise out of the cocky surgeon is one of her favorite pastimes. Truth be told, exasperated looks aren’t the only things she wants from the guy. Nate has no intention of taking another trip down the falling-in-love road. Women are carefully compartmentalized—to his bedroom. Women who don’t mind his take-charge tendencies. Women very different from sassy, sexy, independent Emma. But his usual strategy of arguing with Emma to keep from kissing her goes out the window when his son falls in love with her friend’s daughter. Emma sees a normal teenage romance. Nate sees his plans for the boy’s future ruined. As Nate tries to derail the relationship, Emma runs interference, putting herself directly in the path of the chemistry that grows stronger every time they butt heads. And that could very well lead to the best surprise of all.
Warning: Contains a guy who knows exactly who he is and what he wants and a girl who’s going to change his mind about, well, everything. Plus inappropriate use of chocolate cake (of course, that depends on your definition of inappropriate).
